I trained initially with the Westminster Pastoral Foundation in 2010, gaining an initial qualification in adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
I then trained with Place2Be, working therapeutically with children and young people.
I later trained on the highly regarded Birkbeck MSc, gaining a masters in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy with Distinction. I am an accredited member of the BACP. It is important that anyone looking for child psychotherapy looks for an accredited member of the BACP, ACP, UKCP or HCPC, in order to ensure that they are receiving therapeutic care which is overseen by governing bodies. Therapists registered with these bodies must undertake regular supervision and must continue their training through CPDs.
I am an established member of the Bridge Foundation Psychotherapy team in Bristol, with experience working in settings across the public sector, including schools and pupil referral units. I work with complex presentations including SEN.
