– How it Works

If you choose to reach out, the first step will be an initial consultation. We will consider a number of factors, most importantly your concerns, and whether therapeutic help is a suitable step for your child or young person. This will usually take the form of a free half-hour consultation with parents or carers.

If we all feel we want to proceed, we will arrange three assessment sessions, followed by a parent or carer consultation. This gives everyone involved space to make sure that this is the right intervention, and the right time to proceed.

I use the assessment process to consider whether long or short-term therapy might be advisable, whether parent sessions might be more helpful, or whether I feel a more intensive form of therapeutic help might be needed.
